Wrapping up #Barefoot4Barefeet 2022

January 2023:

We were glad to bring back #Barefoot4Barefeet after many years of hiatus in 2022. Thanks to immediate support from some of our clients and partners, we were able to collectively donate 168 new pairs of socks for people in need this winter season.
We’d like to highlight the story of those who helped us and offer our thanks:
Celtic Court

Celtic Court Nursing Home in Membertou, Nova Scotia setup a donation box for residents and staff to help contribute. They managed to raise 48 pairs of socks, which were donated to Loaves & Fishes in Sydney.
Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia

CPA Nova Scotia setup a donation box at their office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, collecting 52 pairs of socks amongst their staff and clients. The socks were donated to Out of the Cold empowering people in need around the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Nova Scotia Health

Two teams with Nova Scotia Health collected donations amongst their staff and generously gifted their collections to our offices to contribute to our Brookline Plaza donation box. Thank you to everyone from Nova Scotia Health for contributing to our cause!
Brookline Plaza

Located by our own office, we had setup a donation box in the main lobby for residents and partners to make contributions. We’d like to thank everyone who inquired, helped spread the word, and made a donation. Together, we collected 68 pairs of socks through the Brookline Plaza donation box!
We’d like to offer a final thank you to everyone who was eager to help with #Barefoot4Barefeet 2022. We look forward to continuing the conversation in 2023, and inviting more to join the discussion in support of people in need.
